ATM EXCHANGE

摘要

PURPOSE:To attain the cell exchange of non-block with small cell transfer delay and small delay fluctuation in a switch without cell abort in the switch by providing a cell handler corresponding to an ATM line and providing paths with the number equal to cell handler number transferring an output from each cell handler to all cell handlers in the format of broadcast. CONSTITUTION:Cell handlers (10-1)-(10-i)-(10-n) corresponding to ATM lines (1-1)-(1-i)-(1-n) are provided and the cell handlers (10-1)-(10-i)-(10-n) are connected to buses (11-1)-(11-i)-(11-n) in the format of broadcast. Routing information of a cell in switch is stored in a logic channel conversion section 12. An outgoing cell handler number logic channel number is obtained by the logic channel conversion section 12 from a logic number is the header of a user from the ATM line 1-i and it is matched with a user cell by a routing header addition section 13 and transferred to a bus 11-i. Thus, the cell exchange of non-block is attained and cell abort in the switch inside is not generated.
