PURPOSE:To attain precise detection with a simple constitution by inputting output signals from a wheel detector fitted along the longitudinal direction of a rail and a shock vibration detecting elment and discriminating the existence and position of abrasion and peeling off of a flat. CONSTITUTION:The wheel detector 5 using a means such as an optical sensor consisting of a projector and a photodetector e.g. or a magnetic sensor is fitted along the longitudinal direction of the rail 4. The shock vibration detecting element 6 such as an accelerator is arranged on the rail at the distance a half of the shortest axial distance L between the detector 5 of a car 1 and that of the adjacent car. Signals from the detector 5 and the detecting element 6 are inputted to a waveform shaping circuit. The waveform shaping circuit is constituted so that one track signal for three wheel signals is generated and one car signal for the two track signals is generated. |
