PURPOSE:To automatically stop the key input operations in absence of an opera tor and to prevent the illegal operation of an important data base, etc., by inhibiting the key input operations if no identification information is received within a fixed period after transmission of a request signal. CONSTITUTION:When an operator holding an ID card 2 is absent, no identification signal is received from the card 2 and a timer 9 is counted up. A control part 5 receives the count-up state of the timer 9 and outputs a set signal to a key input stop flag 10 to set the flag 10. When the flag 10 is set, an AND gate 13 is closed to inhibit the key input operations carried out via a keyboard 14. As a result, the illegal operations of an important data base, etc., can be prevented. |
