<p>PURPOSE: To make a process to a self-contained driving power system by mixing the washed away flue gases generated from first and second catalyst regeneration zones and using the gaseous mixture in an expansion turbine compressor for compressing fluid/combustion gas. CONSTITUTION: Catalytically cracked hydrocarbon feedstocks are introduced from a conduit 4 into a riser reactor 2 and are collected as a catalyst bed 30 in the lower part of a vessel 150. The entrained hydrocarbon material is stripped from the catalyst particles and is sent to the bed of the catalyst 38 in the first catalyst regeneration zone 40. In this zone, the first regeneration zone flue gas enriched with the residual carbon and CO on the catalyst is formed and is recovered by cyclones 46 and 48 and is sent to a CO-incinerator/ combustion apparatus 130. The partially regenerated catalyst taken out of the catalyst bed 38 is released to the fluidized bed of the catalyst 54 of the second catalyst regeneration zone 58. The second regeneration zone flue gaseous stream recovered from a cyclone separator 74 is mixed with the effluent gas from the CO-incinerator/combustion apparatus 130 and the gaseous mixture is sent to a third separator 144 and an expander turbine 148.</p> |
