The circuit is for stopping or pausing the record mode when the digital signal of the record source is not entered for certain time. When the digital audio signal does not input to a digital signal input terminal (DI), a counter (9) starts to count the preset time (T). After completing the counting of the time, a microprocessor 92) stops or pauses the recording so that the user has not to watch out the recording state.
