PURPOSE:To simplify a mechanism by performing extension and contraction of a multi stage type movable cylinder by a means of the air in relation to the multi stage type air cylinder for conveying the articles in the factories. CONSTITUTION:A four way switching valve 19 is operated, ducts 22, 21 and ducts 20, 22 are put in communication with, then the driving air sent from a means of the air through the duct 22 is made to flow into a body 1 through the switching valve 19, the duct 21, and a port 4, acting on the pressure receiving surface 12a behind the pressure receiving part 12 of an object movable cylindrical member 11 to make the cylindrical member 11 do a stretching motion. By this stretching motion, the conveyed articles pressed by a conveying member 13 is conveyed only to the distance l1. If the driving air is further flowed for the purpose of provision, the driving air pressure makes the middle cylinder 6 do a stretching motion through a closing member 10 to convey the article conveyed further only to the distance l2. The middle and object cylinders 6, 11 stretched like this are contracted once for preparation of the next pressed conveying motion. |
