In order to secure the cloth roller (2) of a loom in an open bearing seat (6), an elastically mounted tongue (7) is provided whichhas two shanks (10, 12) on each side of an elbow (11) and which, at one end of one shank (10) is connected to the loom bearing support (5). The elbow (11) secures the journal (4) of the cloth roller (2) in the bearing. By pivoting the tongue (7), for instance by the action of a lever (14) on the other shank (12) of the tongue (7), the elbow (11) is moved far enough away from the bearing seat (6) for the journal (4) to be taken out of the bearing seat (6). This ensures that the journal (4) is reliably secured and that the cloth roller (2) can be easily replaced without the need for tools. |
