The invention relates to a rubber-metal bush, in particular for supporting a stabiliser bar (6) on a motor vehicle, having outer bearing half-shells (2, 3) capable of being clamped together and forming a receiving eye, having a one-piece rubber-metal element (7) inside the receiving eye, which encloses the stabiliser bar (6) and can be radially clamped in the receiving eye (2, 3). The rubber-metal element (7) consists of a flexible metal strip (8) with rubber layers (9, 10) vulcanised-on on both sides and with a substantially axially extending through-gap. According to the invention, provision is made for at least one part of the metal strip (8) to protrude at the gap without rubber coating and to be bent approximately in a radial direction, so that a metallic tongue (11, 12) projecting radially over the outer rubber layer (9) is formed. A pocket-shaped recess (15) for receiving and fastening the tongue (11, 12) is provided on at least one of the half-shells (2, 3). The tongue (11, 12) is additionally fastened in the axial direction in the recess (15) by the axial boundary surfaces thereof. Consequently, during the fitting precise axial adjustment and fastening inside the receiving-eye region is achieved in the case of the rubber-metal element (7) and, in addition, the tongue parts (11, 12) act as axial stops when the rubber-metal element (7), under loading, has a tendency to travel laterally out of the region of the receiving eye. <IMAGE>
