PURPOSE:To measure the length of pipe and the like readily and accurately by constituting the scale by a plate body which is bent so as to form a concave part in the longitudinal direction. CONSTITUTION:The rigid plate shaped scale 8, wherein the concave part 2 is formed in the longitudinal direction, is constituted by bent flat plate parts 1b and 1c which share an edge 1a. Graduation 5, a grip 7, and the like are provided on the flat plate parts 1b and 1c. When said scale is contacted with the outer surface of the pipe, edge parts 3 and 4, which are extended in the longitudinal direction, are stably contacted with the pipe correctly in parallel with the central axis of the pipe. Therefore the size of the pipe in the piping work and the like can be measured readily and accurately. |
