PURPOSE:To enable full color light emission and obtain improved color mixing by causing the number of blue LED's, whose light emitting brightness is small, to be larger than the number of red LED's and the number of green LED's and setting the height of respective pellet surfaces the same with each other. CONSTITUTION:A red LED pellet 2 and a green LED pellet 3 using GaP or GaAlP are juxtaposed and fixed at the central part of a heater 1. Further, two blue LED pellets 5 consisting of SiC are fixed on a height adjusting block member 4. The number of the blue LED pellets 5 consisting of SiC is made larger than that of the red LED pellet 2 or the green LED pellet 3 consisting of a Ga series compound semiconductor, and the surface height of these respective LED pellets 2, 3, 5 is set nearly equal. Thus, dispersion of light emitting brightness of LED's of respective colors can be corrected, and mixing failure of light colors emitted from respective LED's can be eliminated. |
