The delay output video signal (Sa) passes through a subtractor (3) to obtain a differential signal (Sc) from the input video signal (Sb). - A high pass filter (5) receives the differential signal and generates a filter output signal (Sd). The signal amplitude comparator and selector (6) determines if the differential or filter output signal has a lower amplitude value. The signal with the lower amplitude value is transmitted as the selected signal (Se).
