PURPOSE: To obtain a percutaneous release system suitable for administration for many hours, comprising a solid reservoir of a silicone polymer containing (+)-PHNO and glycerol. CONSTITUTION: This solid reservoir composition contains 1-5wt.% of (4a-R- trans)-3,4,4a,5,6,10b-hexahydro4-propyl-2H-naphto[1, 2b]-1,4-oxazin-9-ol [(+)-PHNO for short] and 0.5-40wt.% of glycerol. The composition is placed on an opaque substrate (e.g. bandage or patch), faced to a rate control membrane of a silicone polymer to prepare a percutaneous medicine release system. The medicine of the formula is released in 2-20μg per hour per 1cm. The medicine is an antidopaminergic agent and is useful for treating Parkinson's disease.
