METHOD AND DEVICE FOR SWEEPING DISCHARGE PIPE OF TANK

PURPOSE:To sweep a discharge pipe in such a state that the fluidized material remains in a tank by connecting a hollow member to the discharge pipe connected to the tank via a discharge valve and removing deposit on the inner wall of the discharge pipe by a sweeping tool equipped in the hollow member. CONSTITUTION:The inlet side of a discharge valve 16 is connected to a discharge pipe 14 projected from a discharge port which is positioned to the lower part of a tank 13 housing fluidized material. After the discharge valve 16 is closed, a transfer pipe is separated therefrom which is connected to the outlet side of the discharge valve 16 and transfers the fluidized material discharged from the tank 13. Then the opened inner end 17 of a hollow member 1 having the inner end and a closed outer end is connected to the outlet side of the discharge valve 16. Thereafter the discharge valve 16 is opened and a sweeping tool 2 equipped in the hollow member 1 is passed through the discharge valve 16 beyond the inner end 17 of the hollow member 1 and progressed to the discharge port of the tank 13. Deposit on the inner wall of the discharge pipe 14 is removed by the sweeping tool 2. As a result, the discharge pipe is swept in such a state that the fluidized material remains in the tank.
