PURPOSE:To cause the most appropriate efficiency to be attained in case of designing a heat exchanger by a method wherein a spacing between fins, a width of louber, an inclination angle of fins and an inclination angle of the louber are specified for their relations. CONSTITUTION:A relation among a fin pitch Pf in a fin of a heat exchanger, a louber width P1, an inclination angle of a fin and an inclination angle thetais represented by one parameter of (tanbetaXtantheta).Pl/Pf and a value of the parameter is 0.2 to 0.45. In case of designing the heat exchanger, each of the values is determined in such a way as an arranging condition of the loubers is within the aforesaid range. In case of judging that the heat exchanger similarly manufactured has a superior performance, each of the aforesaid numerical values is measured and a value of (tanbetaXtantheta).Pl/Pf may be calculated. With such an arrangement, it becomes possible to perform the most appropriate design of the heat exchanger. |
