PURPOSE:To make it possible to alter hysteresis depending on the rotational frequency of a machine, by providing a mechanism which changes the pressure of a friction member, and by interlocking the mechanism with centrifugal members which can be moved in the radial direction and are rotated together with a flange and urged toward the center of the rotation by a spring. CONSTITUTION:Friction washers 13, 14 are disposed on both the sides of a flange 3. A friction plate 15, centrifugal members 16, a tapered ring guide 17 and a corrugated spring 18 are provided between a retaining plate 5 and the friction washer 14 in such a manner that the plate 15, the members 16, the guide 17 and the spring 18 are located in that order from the washer 14. The side of each centrifugal member 16, which faces the retaining plate 5, is provided with a cam surface 20 which is inclined to the retaining plate 5 so that the thickness of the centrifugal member increases outwards in the radial direction. The ring guide 17 is provided with a guide surface 21 parallel with the cam surface 20. Both the cam surfaces 20, 21 constitute a frictional force changing mechanism. |
