PRODUCTION OF MICROBIAL FLOCCULANT

摘要

PURPOSE:To easily and safely produce a microbial flocculant by using alcohols as the carbon source of a culture ground when the microbial flocculant is produced by cultivating bacteria belonging to Rhodococcus and having ability to produce the microbial flocculant. CONSTITUTION:Bacteria belonging to Rhodococcus are cultivated in a culture ground contg. alcohols as a carbon source to obtain a microbial flocculant. The bacteria used are not especially restricted if they belong to Rhodococcus and have ability to produce the microbial flocculant. In concreat terms, the bacteria may be bacteria belonging to Rhodococcus erythropolis, e.g. Rhodococcus erythropolis KR-S-1 strain. The alcohols used as the carbon source of the culture ground is preferably >=2C alcohols. the amt. of the alcohols added to the culture ground is not especially limited.
