Process for manufacturing plastic parts, in particular pipes and bushings, by extrusion of a mixture of polyethylene homo-, mixed, or block polymers (PE) and a polymer plasticizer which reacts with said polymers as well as small quantities of ordinary additives. The moulded or extruded plastic part may then undergo crosslinking and stretching. A mixture of PE and an EPDM with a mean molecular weight between 1 000 and 20 000 in a weight ratio of 90 to 97 % PE and 3 to 10 % EPDM is moulded or extruded.
