PURPOSE:To prevent the suction of air into an oil pump in tilt state and oil leak from a tank cap by installing a saucer-shaped buffle pot which surrounds the peripheries of the discharge port and suction port of a return pipe at the lower part of a buffle plate which partitions the inside of a reservoir tank into the upper and lower parts. CONSTITUTION:A reservoir tank 2 in the upper part of an oil pump 1 is inclined forwardly along a bonnet line, and the reservoir tank 2 is constituted of a lower tank 2b made of nonmagnetic material or resin and an upper tank 2a consisting of sheet metal. In this case, in the front part of the joint surface of the lower tank 2b and upper tank 2a, a buffle plate 10 having a recessed part 10b having a drain hole 10a is fixed, and a saucer-shaped buffle pot 14 which has an air vent hole 14a and surrounds the discharge port and the suction port 5 of a return pipe 4 is fixed at the lower part of the buffle plate 10. With this constitution, a sufficient quantity of oil can be stored in the buffle pot 14 even in tilt state. |
