摘要 A method and device for the digital measurement of phase with increased resolution, a phase modulation being impressed on one (S1 or S2) or both signals, the phase difference of which is to be detected, at a subharmonic f1/n or respectively, f2/n already during the generation of the signals or, for example, with the aid of a controlled phase shifter (5) in the signal path or in that, alternatively, the sampling clock for the phase meter (1, 2, 3, 4) is modulated correspondingly in such a manner that the zero crossings of the signal of a multiplier (3), which is to be sampled and to be averaged, are distributed over various sampling time slots in a defined manner during several periods, in which method the position of the zero crossing can be determined with increased resolution from the known distribution over at least one modulation period, for example with the aid of a filter (4) buffer memory (8), clock generator (7) and accumulator (9), and thus the amplitude of the interference signals due to the time quantisation can be reduced. <IMAGE>
