PURPOSE:To simply obtain the title compound having blood pressure lowering action, etc., by mixing a concentrated liquid obtained by heating and boiling moxa in water and having specific pH with common salt and heating the mixture to evaporate water content and dissolving the resultant powder in purified water. CONSTITUTION:40g Moxa is heated and boiled in 1l water at about 80 deg.C to give concentrated liquid having about pH6.5-pH6.8 and the concentrated liquid is mixed with 150g common salt. Then the water content in the mixture liquid is evaporated to afford powder and the powder is dissolved in a purified water at a ratio of 3g powder based on 100ml purified water to provide the liquid medicine. The liquid medicine acts on parasympathetic part of autonomic nervous system, promotes enlarging action of ductus venosus and exhibits large effects, e.g. effect physiologically lowering blood pressure, effect for relieving the pain of rheumatism, effect on hemiplegia of gout, etc. |
