PURPOSE:To disuse a conventional thermostat which controls ability of a cooling device by providing an opening/closing valve controlled according to a temperature of engine cooling water on a supply pipe communicating a cooling medium tank with a condensing tank. CONSTITUTION:When a temperature of cooling water is higher than a preset value, an opening/closing valve of a cooling device 10 is opened, and cooling medium in a condensing tank 17 is flown into a cooling medium tank 16 through a supply pipe 24. The cooling medium is then evaporated while using heat of the cooling water flowing inside a circular part 13a. The vapor is flown from the condensing tank 17 through a vapor conduit 18 to a tube 20, cooled by a corrugate fin 21 and a fan 23 and condensed. The condensed cooling medium is returned to the condensing tank 17, flown into the cooling tank 16 through the supply pipe 24 again. Heat generated in an engine 11 is radiated outside by the repetition of above mentioned cycle together with a phase change of the cooling medium within a thermosiphon 15. |
