The invention relates to a floor-treatment machine (1) comprising a handle (2) operative to guide movement of the machine over the floor surface; a number of wheels (3, 3a) which co-act with the lower part (2a) of the handle and which are operative to move the machine over the floor or floor surface, and a rotatable, floor-cleaning pad (4) which is mounted at a distance from the lower part (2a) of the handle. The pad (4) is arranged to act against the floor surface (A) with a small pressure when wet, and is intended to carry out a floor-swabbing or mopping function when the machine is displaced along the floor surface (A) with the aid of the handle (2) and the wheels (3, 3a). The pad is intended to act on the floor with a force of less than 10 kg, preferably a force between 4-8 kg. Liquid is supplied to the rotational centre (9) of the pad, or to the vicinity of the rotational centre (9), via a liquid container (12) and a hose (13). |
