<p>A light-emitting unit comprising, as a unitary structure, a metal member for cathode, a metal member for anode, an insulator for insulating the two metal members from each other, and a light-emitting member with leads connected to the metal members. The light-emitting member is incorporated in the light-emitting unit as a unitary structure. So that in case the light-emitting member becomes defective and can no more emit light, the light-emitting unit can be replaced with new one as a whole easily by pulling it out and inserting the new one. Therefore, the replacement is effected by ''one-touch'' operation saving labor and time.</p> |
