A dynamic balance device for a press having frame (1), slide (7) mounted therein for up and down movement in (1), crankshaft (2) rotatably mounted in (1), and connecting rod (6) rotatably mounted on accentric portion (3) of (2) and pivotally connected at lower portion thereof to (7), the balancing device comprising a pair of balance weights (16) disposed on either side of (2) and being movable in a manner to substanitally oppose to the actual direction of movement of slide and each being gudied on respective vertically extending guide rod (18) secured in frame, link (10) journalled at one end thereof to an upper portion of (6), a pair of levers (13) journalled at a respective intermediate point along the length thereof to the (1).
