The invention relates to a forest-sowing machine 1, comprising at least one tilling disc 2 and members 12-16 for sowing seeds in a tillage furrow. The sowing members comprise at least two different cutter wheels 12a-12c intended for the seeds of different types of tree, which cutter wheels are disposed on the same axle 24 as the disc 2. Along the circumference of the disc 2, tilling claws 3-5 of at least two different sizes are respectively designed for a specific tree type. The sowing of seeds from the cutter wheels 12a-12c has been synchronized with the working of the tilling claws 3-5 so that the tillage furrow made by each tilling claw is guaranteed to receive the seeds of the associated tree type. The invention also relates to a process, in which process a sowing machine 1 is used by which seeds of at least two different tree types are simultaneously sown in at least one row in the direction of travel of the machine. <IMAGE>
