<p>PURPOSE:To set processing speed in detail by matching it with the request of each user by changing the speed of a CPU in analog manner under the execution of an application program. CONSTITUTION:A processing to read in the state of a CPU speed adjusting knob 6 is performed at a constant cycle, and when the position of the knob is changed, a CPU clock is switched by HOLD(bus hold signal) corresponding to the instructed value of the knob by performing interruption to a program under execution. The above operation is performed by sending a pulse in which the refresh signal of a DRAM is generated by a program interval timer 4 to the CPU 1 according to the instructed value of the knob by changing its pulse width as the signal HOLD. Thereby, it is possible to hold the CPU transiently, and to delay the operation of the CPU 1 falsely corresponding to the pulse width.</p> |
