<p>Process permitting the production of a waterproof and stain-resistant textile article, which consists in subjecting it to a treatment enabling it to be made impervious and stain-resistant, after having performed conventional fabric preparation treatments (desizing, bleaching, drying, dyeing and/or printing, heat-setting and stabilisation). This treatment is characterised in that: - in a first step a coating layer is deposited onto a single face of the textile article, this being done without the coating material penetrating to the core of the article which is then heat-set; - in a second step the article thus coated and heat-set is subjected to a waterproofing treatment carried out by full-bath padding permitting an impregnation to the core, a treatment which is also followed by a heat-setting operation.</p> |
