PURPOSE:To attain radio wave propagation test of a multiplex propagation line indoor by setting the length of plural optical fiber cables and the attenuation characteristic of an optical attenuator respectively optionally so as to obtain a desired propagation characteristic in a simulating way. CONSTITUTION:The simulator consists of an optical transmission section 2 converting an electric signal inputted from a transmitter TX into an optical signal, an optical demultiplexer 4 demultiplexing an output 3 of the optical transmission section 2 into plural optical signals, and plural optical fibers 5 sending the optical signal demultiplexed and connected to the optical demultiplexer 4 respectively. Moreover, an optical attenuator 6 interposed respectively to the optical fiber cables 5, an optimum multiplexer 8 multiplexing the optical signals outputted from the optical attenuator 6 and an optical reception section 12 converting the optical signal from the optical multiplexer 8 into an electric signal and outputting the signal to a receiver RX are provided. Then the length of plural optical fiber cables and the attenuation characteristic of the optical attenuators 6, 10 are changed independently optionally and respectively are changed. Thus, the optical signals are multiplexed again to form an optional multiplex propagation state and indoor experiment in the multiplex propagation is attained. |
