CONSTITUTION:The outer side of the steel plate 1 which is the skeleton of the structure is coated with an electrical insulating film 2 and the outer side thereof is coated with the inner conductive film 3 consisting of the small piece of a thin conductive sheet, thermally sprayed conductive film or conductive material and the org. binder, etc. Further, the outer side thereof is coated with the outer conductive film 4 which consists of the small piece of the oxidation resistant insoluble conductive material and the org. binder, etc., and has the electric resistance larger than the electric resistance of the film 3. A cathode 5 is provided in sea water 6 opposite to the film 4. A power source 8 is provided between the film 3 and the cathode 5 and the cathode 5 is energized from the film 3 through the film 4. Metals having the metal ionization potential smaller than the hydrogen generating potential, for example, Al, Ti, Cr, etc., are used as the small piece of the thin conductive sheet, thermally sprayed conductive film and conductive material of the film 3 at this contamination preventive device. |
