PURPOSE: To process marine seismic data obtained from a marine seismic source deviated from a desired course and a cable by conducting normal move-out correction and dip move-out correction of marine seismic data. CONSTITUTION: To compensate a fact that data obtained by feathering a cable involve a change in a ship course for special/common middle point(CMP) for flat reflector, utilizing the data, normal move-out is first conducted. An offset effect against a non-horizontal reflector is removed. After the data are subjected to normal move-out correction, the data is subjected to dip move-out correction. The data are adjusted and a crossover line smear of CMP is removed, so that an actual CMP crossover line existing at an inline position may be determined for all courses. When these actual positions are determined, time slice is selected and the amplitude of a signal at the actual crossover line position is determined. The data are then adjusted and 3D-migrated. |
