The fastening consists of a sprung barb (4) fixed to one of the two arms (2, 3) of the U-shaped push-on holder. The fastening extends towards the curve in the U-shaped piece, between the arms. The push-on holder and barb are in one piece of round metal wire. The bar is shaped lengthwise so that material can be clamped between the arms at least two places, by the sprung barb and the inside of one arm. The transition point between the arms and barb are rolled or pressed flat and acts as the barb spring.
