PURPOSE: To obtain an excellent result by a sensitizing screen by constituting a masking layer of a photosensitive layer having a toned and anatomically correct unsharp dot picture. CONSTITUTION: On the sensitizing screen 20, a photosensitive layer 36 to be toned is applied to the surface of a light emitting layer 32 and a dot original plate including an anotomically correct and generalized unsharpe picture for a necessary portion is put on the layer 36. A viscous section 37 and a non- viscous section 38 are formed on the proof film by using a light source having a proper active light output and the section 37 corresponds to an area in which light arriving at a photograph film 22 is to be reduced out of the unsharpe picture. A toning material is stuck to the viscous section 37 on the proof film 36 and forms a colored area 38 for reducing transmitting light passing the area 38, which has various densityxvalues 38, 38', 38" or the like and forms a mask for absorbing light of various levels on respective positions of the screen 20. Consequently the masking of transmitted light is also anatomically correct.
