Thermoplastic elastomeric block copolymers of general formula BDB min (I) or of general formula (B sec E)nX, wherein each of B,B min , B sec comprises a substantially linear, substantially pure polyethylene block, having a melting temperature >/= 110 DEG C, as determined via differential scanning calorimetry; D and E are substantially linear elastomeric polymer blocks being, substantially free from olefinic unsaturation; the molecular weight distribution (Mw/Mn) of B,BD, BDB min , B sec and B sec E is /= 2.
