PURPOSE:To eliminate erroneous decision by inspecting a histogram in a set inspection frame, and evaluating the quality of a printing mark by taking form information into consideration. CONSTITUTION:An area deciding part 10 is provided with a constant threshold as a judging reference, and decides whether or not a part of the suitable printing mark A exist at the part of the threshold. A histogram measuring part 1 prepares the longitudinal and lateral histograms inside inspection frames B to F. A histogram deciding part 2 decides whether or not the form of the part of the printing mark A inside the inspection frame is normal by the continuous pattern of each histogram. Further an IC printing mark deciding part 11 synthetically judges the results of the area deciding part 10 and the histogram deciding part 2, and decides the quality of the printing mark. Thus by using the histogram information in the inspection frame as well, the erroneous decision is eliminated. |
