PURPOSE:To improve charge-discharge characteristics by filling a porous metal substrate with a paste mainly composed of hydrogen storage powder which does not contain a fibrotic pressure sensitive adhesive and after drying it, coating the substrate with a dispersion solution of fibrotic pressure sensitive adhesive and then, rolling the substrate. CONSTITUTION:A porous metal substrate is filled with a paste mainly composed of hydrogen storage powder which does not contain a fibrotic pressure sensitive adhesive. As the viscosity of this paste is low, it is possible to substantially fill the substrate with this paste. After drying the substrate, a dispersion solution of the fibrotic pressure sensitive adhesive is applied to the substrate, and when it is dried and rolled, the adhesive is made into fiber to form a three dimensional network over the whole of the inside of the substrate. Accordingly, hydrogen storage material powder is stuck and held to the inside of this network, and as no insulating adhesives are contained in the inside of the network, there is no possibility of drop of the conductivity of an electrode so that it is possible to improve charge-discharge characteristics. |
