<p>The method for diagnosing the kind or degree of ovarian diseases or diagnosing pregnancy comprises pressing electrodes (14,14) against a mucous membrane of a mammalian vagina. The sodium ion concentration of the membrane is detected based on the impedance between the electrodes (14,14). Diagnosis is based on the results of detection or the manner of changes in the sodium ion concentration.</p> |
