The machine bends small-diameter thin-walled metal pipe, having a stationary die in a large number of sections, of the shape to which the pipe (2) has to be bent. A first section of the die has curves in the lengthwise direction of radii less than those to which the pipe is to be bent and a surface at right angles to the bending direction. - A second section has a guide face (1") parallel to this direction. A guide member (3) mounted on the die (1) is at right angles to the guide face and curves to a smaller radius than that to which the pipe is to be bent. A bending tool (5) outside the die is moved along it, bending the pipe against the first and second sections, and rotates, under the action of an actuator (7) with wire (12). |
