PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the adverse effect onto other system configuration device or the like and the effect on the performance of the entire system due to a monopoly time of a bus attended with transfer of image data. SOLUTION: A converter 200 converts an electric signal of each luminance level of RGB from a reader section 1 into multi-value data in black/white 8-bits and the data are stored in a bit map memory section 9, additional bit data with respect to read image data read by using an electric signal of a luminance level of G among RGB data and stored in a bit map memory 9. A CPU 1003 references the additional bit data received via a serial-parallel converter 204 to discriminate the processing with respect to the image and transfers the result to an image processing hardware 208. The image processing hardware 208 applies image processing to the black/white 8-bit multi-value data stored in the bit map memory section 9 based on the transferred information and after the image processing is finished, a printer section 2 is used to print out the image. |
