PURPOSE:To rapidly and desirably eliminate clogging by opening a valve by control means when an ink discharge port is clogged to introduce ink from an ink storage tank, driving high frequency vibration generating means to vibrate new ink in a space in high frequency, and heating it. CONSTITUTION:A three-way solenoid valve 12 is controlled to hold one of a position for opening an ink conduction tube 11 with the atmosphere, a position for closing the tube 11, and a position communicating between an ink storage tank 9 and a cap member space 14 through the tube 11 in three directions. A piezo element 15 as a high frequency vibration generator provided at a space wall of a cap member 7 can drive the valve 12, a suction pump 8, the element 15, etc., through ink recovery control means 13 by pressing a recovery switch 16 by a user to fill ink in the space 14 of the member 7 and to vibrate the filled ink by the element 15, thereby effectively cleaning the periphery of a discharge port 3B. |
