PURPOSE:To reconcile the durability and motion characteristics compatibly at a higher order by forming a belt, which is arranged between the crown region of carcass and the tread, from specific two-ply belt ply layers, and adjoining thereto arranging a specific rubber reinforce layer. CONSTITUTION:In a pneumatic tire as per the present invention, a tread 4 is arranged outside in the radial direction of the crown region in a radial ply carcass 1, and belts 2 are arranged between the crown region of carcass 1 and thread 4. In this constitution the belts 2 are formed at least two-ply belt ply layers 2a, 2b, wherein element cords of metal having the dia. of filaments arranged parallelly to each other ranging 0.28-0.70mm are driven in the number 30-120 pieces per 50mm at a cord angle of 15-30deg. to the equator surface of the tire. Further a rubber reinforce layer 3 having a 25% modulus of 20-85kg/cm<2> and a thickness of 1mm or more is installed adjoining to the belt ply layers 2a, 2b. |
