<p>The invention provides container closure assemblies comprising a container neck (1, 20) and a closure (2, 21) secured on the container neck by screw threads. A tamper-evident ring (3, 22) is severably attached to the closure and has inwardly projecting retaining tabs (15) for retaining it on the container neck after the closure has been removed for the first time. The invention is characterized by the provision of side wall elements (7, 8) on the container neck defining windows (10, 26) for receiving individual retaining tabs (15) of the tamper-evident ring to block rotation of the tamper-evident ring on the container neck and obstruct tampering with the flexible tabs (15).</p> |
