A wheel support (1) for road vehicles consists of a kit comprising a number of generally flat elements (2a, 2b, 2c) which can be assembled into a stack. A stack of such elements has one or more stepped or inclined sides (5, 6) constituting a ramp, enabling a wheel to be driven up the stack onto a wheel supporting surface (7) at the top of the stack. The elements have interlocking means such as projections (3) which fit into corresponding recesses (4) so that each adjacent pair of elements in the stack is locked together and prevented from relative lateral movement when a wheel is driven onto the support. <IMAGE> |
