<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To calculate the accurate capacity by the dynamic consideration of wiring resistance and capacity by incorporating the step of calculating to replace the wiring resistance and capacity circuit network with output charge capacity of concentrated constant. SOLUTION: A circuit simulator module 102 inputs gate circuit net information 101 and output load capacity calculation indication file 108, conducts a transient analysis simulation, and outputs a transient analysis result file 103 for storing the voltage and current value information of nodes at respective times. A wiring delay calculation module 104 inputs the files 103, 108, calculates the threshold voltage arrival time of the node corresponding to the gate output terminal, and outputs threshold voltage arrival time information 105. An output load calculation module 106 which inputs the information 105 and the films 103, 108 calculates the charge amount discharged to the threshold voltage arrival time by a time integrating method, and calculates the output load capacity from the obtained charge amount and power source voltage value. The calculating step can replace the capacity circuit network with the output load capacity of concentrated constant.</p> |
