摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To facilitate the high speed operation of a semiconductor integrated circuit by a method wherein a plurality of signal lines along an X-direction are connected to a plurality of corresponding signal lines along a Y-direction in a predetermined region in accordance with a certain rule. CONSTITUTION:It is detected 1 whether a plurality of signal lines are extended to an X- direction or to a Y-direction. A plurality of the signal lines are extended 2 to the direction determined by the detection. It is judged 3 whether a plurality of the extended first signal lines reach a predetermined region in which the first signal lines are to be connected to a plurality of second signal lines extended to a direction perpendicular to the extending direction of the first signal lines or not. In accordance with the judgement result, if the first signal lines reach the predetermined region, the extending direction of a plurality of the second signal lines is judged 4 and a plurality of the first signal lines are connected to a plurality of the second signal lines through through-holes. At that time, the signal line among a plurality of the first signal lines which is located farthest from the extending direction of a plurality of the second signal lines is connected to the signal line among a plurality of the second signal lines which is located closest to the extending direction of a plurality of the first signal lines first and then the signal lines are connected 5 to each other systematically. With this constitution, a high speed operation can be realized and the performance can be improved.</p>
