PURPOSE: To position an explorer against a fetal head skin at a desirous position and firmly fix the explorer by providing a fixing tool with a driving element having flexibility in the longitudinal direction, a connecting part with the explorer, and a means for rotating the explores together with it adjacent to the rear terminal. CONSTITUTION: A hood element 16 is held and inserted into a position in mother' s body so as to position an explorer 12 along a driving rod 14 against a fetal head skin. The rear portion 28 of a flexible joint 30 can be bent against the front portion of the flexible joint 30, and the rear portion 28 thereof and be rotated and also the front portion 26 thereof can be rotated without giving any damage upon the driving rod 14. The flexible joint 30 can rotate the rear portion 28 without giving any distortion to the front portion 25, and then the rotation of the rear portion 28 is transmitted to the front portion 26 with a corresponded rotation. When the rear portion 28 is rotated, the front portion 26 arranged to oppose the fetal head skin is vertically positioned against the fetal head skin during the rotation of the driving rod 14, therefore, the fixing of the explorer with the fetal head skin is easily and firmly carried out. |
