Method of repairing and protecting plaster-covered outside wall surfaces

The depth of the apertures in the outer plaster extends at least as far as the insulating plate surface. A reinforcement plaster is applied and possibly an inlay of reinforcement fabric. The partial opening of the outer plaster may be by means of slots, sawcuts or drilling. The partial openings are parallel running slots (2). The slots can run sectionally horizontally, vertically and/or diagonally. As reinforcement plaster a fibre-reinforced version may be used. The reinforcement fabric after inlay is mechanically fixed, using dowels penetrating the reinforcement fabric and the heat insulating structure into the brickwork.
