摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To stabilize the stacking, alignment and conveyance of sheets by changing the sheet conveying force of a conveying means between the case of stacking sheets which are discharged bridging between first and second after-processing means and the case of further conveying sheets downstream of the after-processing means. CONSTITUTION:Sheets discharger from a copying machine 3 are conveyed by a pair of discharge rollers 76 from an introduction port 71 into a conveying path 73 by way of a deflector 72, and then the sheets are discharged directly onto a stack tray 103 by means of a discharge roller 86 and a swingable roller 89 in the case of a non- binding mode. Meanwhile if a binding mode is selected, the sheet are discharged bridging between a processing tray 77 and a stack tray 103 by the pair of discharge rollers 76 in such a condition that the swingable roller is separated off, and is aligned widthwise and longitudinally by being guided by means of a side guide plate and by being made into contact with the base end of the processing tray 77 by means of the clockwise rotating discharge roller 86 and a counterclockwise rotating belt 79. After the sheets are bound by a stapler 85, the swingable roller 89 is lowered so as to discharge the sheets onto the stack tray 103. Thus, it is possible to stably stack, align and convey the sheets.</p>
