Container lid closure method - using support box on which container rim rests during closing action

Plastics containers e.g. for salads etc. are closed by a plastics lid with beaded rims. Container is supported on a box after which lid is e.g. air tight fitted over beaded container rim. Container (2) with outwards protruding rim (3) is placed in a plastics support box (1). Rim (3) rests on upright edge of the support box. Closure lid (4) has rim (5) which fits during closure procedure over rim (3) of container.
