<p>PURPOSE:To enable growth of seedlings in a completely aseptic state to a size without being attacked by viruses, etc., in the outside air by cutting off part of a plant body, proliferating calli in a solid culture medium, then carrying out liquid culture in a closed state. CONSTITUTION:A tissue near growth point of a plant is cut off and bedded on a solid culture medium of a bedding test tube 101 to proliferate calli. The resultant proliferated calli are then transferred to a liquid culture vessel (mass proliferation device) 1 containing a liquid culture medium placed therein and cultured until the formation of stems and leaves is started. The culture starting the formation of the stems and leaves is then fed through a pipe 5 to a culture tissue preparation device 2 to aseptically carry out grading and separation of the culture having a prescribed size and separation of the liquid culture medium. The graded culture, together with a fresh culture solution, is subsequently fed through the pipe 5 to an immature aseptic culture device 3. Aseptic culture is performed on a support material 31, such as polyurethane, having hydrophilicity and air permeability by a method similar to water culture therein to grow cultured microorganisms of photoautotrophs.</p> |
