<p>To provide a process of this kind with which it is possible to make externally contaminated hollow bodies optimally usable for recycling, the hollow bodies pass one after the other through an impact phase and a tearing-open phase and then a compression phase, the hollow bodies treated in this manner being fed back in a flow-rate-controllable partial stream and added to the untreated hollow bodies. The device for carrying out this process is suitably a comminution machine (1) having a rotor (2) which rotates rapidly in a housing (3) on a horizontal shaft, is equipped with beating tools on its circumference and has a first inlet (6) on the upwardly rotating rotor side and a second inlet (9) below the first inlet (6). Deformable hollow bodies can thus be cleaned of contaminants adhering to the outside, including lacquer and zinc plating. <IMAGE></p> |
